While reservations are not required for day-care, you will need to make one to board your dog. All dogs must pass a screening evaluating whether he/she would do well in a cage-free environment before we may accept a reservation for boarding. Additionally, dogs at The Loved Dog™ must be spayed or neutered, current with all shots and on a flea protection program. Making a reservation one to two weeks in advance is usually enough time, however please note that peak times of the year (i.e. Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, New Year's) may require several months' advance as well as a deposit to guarantee space. You will be asked to place a credit card on file as part of your boarding contract. We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover.
We carefully screen all of our canine clients to ensure this is the right environment for them, as we want all our guests to thrive, be comfortable and have fun at The Loved Dog™. Due to the nature of a cage-free facility, aggressive or overly fearful dogs are not allowed to participate. All guests must have the social skills to be in this environment. Your dog must be altered if over 7 months and be fully vaccinated. Required vaccines are Rabies, DHLP and Bordatella (Bordatella is required every 6 months). Please call us to schedule a screening, as an appointment is required to ensure we can give you and your dog ample attention.
